Using itunes go to the itunes store and search using KQED - for educational use in classes, usually free. Great little snippets of video and audio to enhance your studies.
Podcast tutorial by Apple
Atomic Learning also has podcasting workshops and tutorials
Examples- Jamestown Grade 1 and 3 podscasts



a tip from Rick- Pembina Trails website
from RIchard- use your digital cameras to capture video as it saves it as a file, easier to use.

2:30 - Sharing School Based Initiatives
Centennial supported the EA's in 2 sessions to build their tech skills in programs like garageband, etc
Daerwood took the entire teaching staff to the BYTE conference
Bonaventure focused on their new Smartboards and developing the teachers' skills and they also developed shortcuts and translations into french
Robert Smith had the 4-6 teachers attend the Riding the Wave Conference
Mapleton 4-6 teachers attended Riding the Wave and K-3 did in-school pd on smart notebook
Ruth Hooker did sharing sessions focusing on the items that the study group presented this year ie. blogging, etc. Also took the time to explore Atomic Learning
Happy Thought surveyed the staff for needs then had a rep from Apple come out and go through various programs
